Howard Riethmeyer initially owned Howard's Texaco at
the corner of Anderson Lane and Woodrow beginning in
1954.  He then moved down the street and started Howard's
Auto Repair on Anderson Lane.  After purchasing property on
what was then FM 1325 he then incorporated as Riethmeyer's
Auto Repair.  They have been in business there since 1978.
Over the past 29 years FM 1325 has now become the Mopac
Expressway and businesses have sprung up in every
direction.

One thing that has not changed over time however is
Riethmeyer's Auto Repair.  They have been Family Oriented
and reliable since day one.
 Howard's son, Keith, began to
ride his bicycle to work on Anderson Lane at the age of 6.
Keith has continued to work at the family owned business.
Keith and his sister Sandy now work together to see that the
same quality and service is continued at Riethmeyer's.

When Howard Riethmeyer passed away in 1989, his
daughter Sandy Schiller began working in the office to help
her mother Christean.  After Christean passed away Sandy
continued working in the office.  Sandy's three daughters
helped out in the office during the summer's from 9th grade all
the way until they graduated.

Keith has one son and one daughter who both also have
spent time at the family business.  This just goes to show how
important family is at Riethmeyer's.  You can always count on
friendly, family oriented service.
